The prevention of the pollution
Reduction of a material targeted for PRTR
- Reduction of the solvent (methylene chloride) used for washing in the production process. => More than 90% reduction of ratios in FY 2002.
- Reduction of the volume of solvent “toluene” released to the atmosphere from production process. => More than 50% reduction of ratios in FY 2002
- Cleaner for print. => Promoted the nonuse of a material for PRTR.
- Nonuse of phthalic acid for printing blanket. => We carry out nonuse of phthalic acid in all products.
Resource saving, Energy saving
- Efficient use of energy by reducing the heating power in the entire production process.
- We use 100% Eco-Energy at our European headquarter in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Waste reduction
- Promotion of recycling of the rubber waste which occurred from production process.
- Recycling by classification of the waste.
